In South Korea, <strong>the suicide of a robot civil servant has raised many questions<\/strong>.<strong> It appears to have jumped from a staircase<\/strong> late on Thursday afternoon, June 20.<strong> The android had been working for almost a year<\/strong>, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Gumi Town Hall.  <\/div>\n<div class=\"lead\">\n<p class=\"article-p mdl\">He helped municipal employees send out administrative documents and also delivered mail. He even had his own civil servant card.  <strong>But on Thursday June 20, the robot was behaving strangely. He spun around at the top of a staircase. And then he let himself down.  <\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"article-p mdl\">The metal block shattered some ten steps below.<strong> It was found inert by witnesses<\/strong>, who were questioned by investigators. <strong>The municipality has launched an investigation<\/strong> to shed light on the incident.
