Stéphane Gagnon, responsable du volet Cybersécurité et organisation, détient depuis 2001 un Ph.D. en administration des affaires de l’UQAM, spécialisé en gestion de la technologie. Professeur régulier à l’UQO depuis 2006, et détenteur d’un financement du Human-Centric Cybersecurity Partnership (HC2P), il apporte à notre équipe son expertise sur l’application des technologies d’intelligence sémantiques en cybersécurité et sur le leadership stratégique de la cyber-résilience. Comme responsable du Volet 2, il est collaborateur aux 5 axes, visant à intégrer les efforts de recherche en cybersécurité et organisations dans une perspective transdisciplinaire.

Comparative Analysis of the Relevance and Priority for Artificial Intelligence Tools, Services and Open Questions in the Hellenic, Argentinian and Canadian Parliaments Article de journal Dans: International Journal of Parliamentary Studies, 2024, ISSN: 26668904 (ISSN), (Publisher: Brill Academic Publishers). @article{von_lucke_comparative_2024, Artificial Intelligence (ai) is on the rise and already affecting parliaments around the world. In the framework of a long-term and on-going research project, a series of interactive workshops have been organized between 2021 and 2023 in three national parliaments, in Greece, Argentina, and Canada, with the objective to assess the relevance and priority of a pre-defined set of 210 proposals, primarily regarding the use of ai-based tools and services in the parliamentary workspace. Reflection groups within each parliament evaluated these proposals providing invaluable results that can be utilized in manifold ways by the institutions, for instance towards structuring digital strategies, designing future it systems, or training intra-parliamentary stakeholders. This article presents a comparative analysis of the results obtained by all three parliaments. The analysis sheds light in a rapidly developing field of disruptive parliamentary technology (ParlTech) that with define the parliaments of the future. © 2024 Jörn von Lucke et al. |

Reflecting on possible tools, application areas, usage scenarios, and requirements, it is reasonable to anticipate that AI-driven changes will manifest in parliamentary operations. Though Canada has been championing AI, additional research is necessary for its seamless integration and use in the parliamentary workspace. This research paper contributes to the bridging of this gap by presenting empirical evidence for the future use of AI-based tools and services, along with addressing open questions for their implementation within the Canadian Parliament. The data were collected during a brainstorming exercise in July 2020 and a virtual workshop in September 2023. Article de journal Dans: Corporate Reputation Review, 2024, ISSN: 13633589 (ISSN), (Publisher: Springer Nature). @article{agbodoh-falschau_when_2024, The concept of misleading information categorized as misinformation, disinformation, and mal-information among others is receiving much attention, as it is seen to have detrimental consequences on the organizations’ reputation and going concerns. Corporations face more challenges in honing responses to combat these cyber threats as there are still significant differences in the proposed governance solutions and a lack of empirical research investigating the most prevalent ones to fight these growing risks. Grounded on protection motivation theory, empirical evidence, and the data collected from the Statistics Canada Open Sources Database, this paper investigates the appropriateness of governance solutions that corporations contemplate in managing these cybersecurity risks. Our results show that governance solutions related to increasing online presence and customer outreach explained 52% of overall solutions contemplated by corporations to fight these cyber threats. The results also revealed that organizations ranked governance solutions associated with employee training, new increase cybersecurity measures, marketing campaigns, legal action, political advocacy, and reporting to external parties as the most adopted solutions to combat false or misleading information. Overall, our paper contributes to a growing disinformation, misinformation, and mal-information literature in business environments by providing empirical evidence on key governance solutions favored by corporations to combat misleading information. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Limited 2024. |
