abstract = {The rapid growth of AI is enabling new capabilities for organizations in knowledge management and requiring new worker capabilities in value creation. New generative AI capabilities can facilitate improved data quality and better worker support. However, best practices for effective and safe use of generative AI are still being established. Scholars must continue to develop their curriculum and pedagogy to prepare students for these new challenges. This panel focuses on educating members for Sustainable Leadership positions in IS within the context of Digital Innovation and Transformation, utilizing the framework that encompasses Digital Strategy and Enterprise Architecture. © 2024 ICISER. abstract = {The number of digital startup companies increased while many global companies has proceeded with Digital Transformation for a decade. This panel is related to the education for the practice of IS Leadership roles in Digital Transformation with a given framework of Digital Strategy and Enterprise Architecture. As members of education and collaborative research teams that have been studying and teaching the correct direction of IS leadership roles under Digital Transformation in global organizations while applying Enterprise Architecture (EA) Framework – the “Adaptive Integrated Digital Architecture Framework (AIDAF)” with Holistic EA Framework, the panelists understand that the above roles have difficulties during Digital Transformation. Thus, the panelists will discuss the theory, practice, and extent of educator’s precise guidance in the leadership roles and correct directions in Digital Transformation. This panel of senior IS educators, researchers with industry, government experience will discuss the effectiveness of “IS Leadership Education with Digital Transformation, EA and Software Design” in the new era of Digital IT. © ICISER 2023. abstract = {Procurement transformation and pure cost reduction are no longer a novelty in today's modern business world. Procurement, as a core business function, plays a key role given its ability to generate value for the firm. From maximizing supplier value to minimizing contract leakage, challenges seldomly lack in this department. In fact, both resource and skill shortages and technology limitations are typically "top-of-mind" for Procurement Executives. Many research articles around the concept of cost reduction however, limited literature has been published in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, analytics and Rules-Based Systems and their specific application in Procurement. This article proposes a new enterprise architecture, leveraging emerging technologies to guide procurement organizations in their digital transformation. Our intent is to discuss how analytics, business rules and complex event processing (CEP) can be explored and adapted to the world of procurement to help reduce costs. This article concludes by suggesting an approach to implement the proposed architecture. Copyright © 2020, IGI Global.},
